성모송(聖母誦, 라틴어: Ave Maria 아베마리아)은 그리스도교에서 성모 마리아를 기리며 마리아에게 전구(傳求, 대신 빌어줌)를 간청하는 것이다. 이를 한국어로 직역하면 ‘안녕하십니까, 마리아님’ 또는 ‘축하합니다, 마리아님’이라는 뜻이 있다. 다른 말로는 성모경(聖母經)이라고도 하며, 성모송은  전례 행위가 아닌 성모 마리아에 대한 공경 즉, 성모 마리아를 성인으로 공경하는 행위이다. 그리스도교에서 성모송 또는 성모기도를 통해 성모 마리아를 성인으로 공경하는 그리스도교 교파로는 로마 가톨릭교회, 정교회, 성공회 등이 있다.

 

World's Tallest Statue of Virgin Mary

The Peace Sculpture aka Monument to Our Lady of Peace (Monumento a la Virgen de la Paz) is an enormous statue of Virgin Mary about 11 km southwest of the city of Trujillo, in Venezuela.

 

Built entirely of concrete on hollow steel shell, the sculpture is 46.72 meters (153.28 ft.) high, 16 meters (52.5 ft) wide, 18 metres (59 feet) deep at the base and weighs about 1200 tons. The colossal statue is not only the highest statue of the Virgin Mary in the world, it is also the tallest habitable sculpture in Americas being couple of feet taller than the Statue of Liberty (46 m/151 ft) in New York and several feet taller than statue of Christ the Redeemer (38m/125 ft) in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

 

The sculpture built in 1983, is located on "Peña de la Virgen (Rock of the Virgin)" , a hillock 1,600 meters above sea level, where the Virgin reportedly appeared in the year 1570. It shows the Virgin Mary in blue tunic holding a pigeon in her right hand.

Ave Maria is a celebrated prayer in the cultures of Latin descend.

The French romantic composer Charles Gounod has layered his melody on a slightly changed version of the Prelude No.1 in C Major, by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

 

This piece was published 1853 under the name "Méditation sur le Premier Prélude de Piano de S. Bach".

 

'아베 마리아'는 라틴계 문화에서 유명한 기도문이다. 

 

"제바스티안 바흐(S.바흐)의 피아노 프렐류드(전주곡) 1번에 관한 명상 (Méditation sur le Premier Prélude de Piano de S. Bach)"  제목의 이 작품은

 

프랑스 낭만주의 작곡가 샤를 프랑수아 구노(Charles -François Gounod, 1818~1893)의 장인  피에르 치머만(Pierre-Joseph-Guillaume Zimmermann , 1785~1853)이 구노의 연주를 바이올린(또는 첼로), 피아노와 하모늄을 위한 곡으로 편곡하면서,  독일 작곡가 요한 제바스티안 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach)의 전주곡 1번 C장조를 약간 변경,  편곡하여 1853년에 출판하였다.  같은 해  구노는  알퐁스 드 라마르틴(Alphonse de Lamartine 1790~1869)의 시 〈생명의 책(Le livre de la vie)〉을 가사로 하여  이곡을  출판하였다.

 

이 작품은 "Méditation sur le Premier Prélude de Piano de S. Bach"라는 이름으로 1853년에 출판되었다. 

지금의 Ave Maria로 시작하는 라틴어 성모송이 가사로 붙게 된 것은 1859년에 들어서였다.

Charles Gounod added words to his composition in 1859. In 1859, the first version of “Ave Maria” was recorded.

 

The original composition by Bach dates 1722.

바흐의 오리지널 작곡은 1722년으로 거슬러 올라간다.

Johann Sebastian Bach published “Book 1” of “The Well-Tempered Clavier” in 1772. The “Prelude in C major” is the first piece of this collection and is a famous piece among piano students since that time.

 

Rusanda Panfili was born 1988 in Chisinau, Moldova. She started her violin studies in Romania at the “George Enescu” music school in Bucharest, and at the age of 11 she became one of the youngest students at the Conservatory of music and art in Vienna.

In 2015, she graduated her “Master of Arts” studies with excellence at the Music University in Vienna, under the guidance of Prof. Christian Altenburger.

She won her first international competition in Italy at the age of 10 and under the guidance from her violin professor Alexander Arenkow, Rusanda earned numerous international prizes such as “R. Lipizer” in Italy, “L.Spohr” in Germany, “Fidelio” in Austria and the “Herbert von Karajan”, “Tokyo foundation” and “Yamaha” scholarships in Austria.Rusanda

 

Rusanda Panfili는 1988년 몰도바 키시나우에서 태어났다. 그녀는 부쿠레슈티에 있는 "George Enescu" 음악 학교에서 루마니아에서의 바이올린 공부를 시작했으며 11세에 비엔나의 음악 및 예술 음악원에서 가장 어린 학생 중 한 명이 되었다.

 

2015년에 그녀는 Christian Altenburger 교수의 지도 아래 비엔나의 음악 대학에서  최우수생으로 " 석사" 과정을 졸업했다.

 

그녀는 10살 때 이탈리아에서 열린 첫 국제 콩쿠르에서 우승했으며  바이올린 교수 Alexander Arenkow의 지도 아래 “  이탈리아의 R. Lipizer”, 독일의 “L.Spohr”, 오스트리아의 “Fidelio”, 그리고 오스트리아의 “Herbert von Karajan”, “Tokyo Foundation”  및 “Yamaha”  등  수많은 장학금을 받았다.
