The Öresund or Øresund Bridge

The Öresund or Øresund Bridge (Danish: Øresundsbroen [ˈøːɐsɔnsˌpʁoˀn̩]; Swedish: Öresundsbron [œrɛˈsɵ̂nːdsˌbruːn]; hybrid name: Øresundsbron) is a combined railway and motorway bridge across the Øresund strait between Denmark and Sweden.

 

It is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe, running nearly 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the Swedish coast to the artificial island Peberholm in the middle of the strait. The crossing is completed by the 4-kilometre (2.5 mi) Drogden Tunnel from Peberholm to the Danish island of Amager.

 

 

 

 

 The 8km Oresund Bridge links Copenhagen & Malmö. It's Europe's longest combined road/rail bridge.

Oresun Bridge

 

The Øresund Bridge (locally called Øresundsbron) is the bridge that connects Øresund in Denmark with Skane, Sweden, in a total length of just over 10 miles (16,4 km). This is the road connection between the metropolitan areas of Copenhagen and Malmö. The international European route E20 runs across the bridge and through the tunnel via the two lane motorway (a 4-lane road carrying 6 million vehicles per year), as does the Öresund Railway Line (two train tracks carrying about 8 million people each year). Due to the Schengen Agreement, there are no passport or customs controls.

외레순대교(Oresund Bridge)

 

교량구간의 총 길이는 7,845m이며, 구조물 총 질량은 82,000t

140m 간격으로 설치된 교각이 사장교 주탑까지 거더를 지지한다.
사장교 주탑의 높이는 204m이며, 다리 아래 높이는 57m이다.

덴마크쪽 해상에는 공항이 있어서 비행기와 간섭하지 않도록 노선을 해저터널로 설계 시공하였으며

이를 위해 인공 섬(페버홀름)이 건설되었다.
페버홀름은 자연 보호 구역으로, 공사 중에 나온 골재로 건설하였다.

길이는 약 4km이며, 평균 폭은 500m이다.

대부분 선박은 장애물이 없는 드로그덴 터널 위를 통과한다.
1995년부터 건설이 시작되었으며, 1999년 8월 14일 완공되었다.
