뉴질랜드, 3년 연속 국가 청렴도 1위..

 

뉴질랜드가 3년 연속 국가 청렴도 1위를 차지하였다.

 

국제투명성기구(TI)가 180개 국가들을 대상으로 최근 발표한 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index (세계 부패 인식지수) 에서 뉴질랜드가 덴마크와 핀란드와 함께 88점을 받으면서 공동 1위를 차지 하였다.

 

뉴질랜드와 덴마크는 2019년부터 2021년까지 국가 청렴도 1위를 차지하고 있다.

 

그 다음으로 노르웨이 싱가포르 스웨덴이 85점으로 공동 4위를 하였으며, 이웃나라 호주는 73점으로 18위를 차지하였고 한국은 62점으로 32위를 차지하였다.

 

최저 점수를 차지한 국가들은 11점을 받은 남수단 13점을 받은 시리아·소말리아그리고 14점을 받은, 베네수엘라로 나타났다.

The 2021 CPI, published in January 2022, currently ranks 180 countries "on a scale from 100 (very clean) to 0 (highly corrupt)" based on the situation between May 2020 and May 2021.

 

Denmark, New Zealand, Finland, Singapore and Sweden are perceived as being the least corrupt nations in the world, ranking consistently high among international financial transparency,

while the most perceived corrupt countries in the world are Syria, Somalia and South Sudan, scoring 13 and 11 out of 100 respectively in 2021.

The results at a glance

The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) ranks of countries around the world, based on how corrupt their public sectors are perceived to be. The results are given on a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 is highly corrupt and 100 is very clean.

This year’s CPI paints a grim picture of the state of corruption worldwide.

More than two-thirds of countries score below 50. And despite some progress, nearly half of all countries have been stagnant on the CPI for almost a decade. These countries have failed to move the needle in any significant way to improve their score and combat public sector corruption.
