잠시 이승을 머물다 간 두 여인,

지금은 저 하늘

아름다운 별이 되어 있을 것입니다.

 

가기엔 너무 이른 아까운 나이, 아쉬웁기 한량없지만, 인간의 운명은 전적으로 하느님의 일.

 

여기 너무 굵게 너무 짧게 살고 간 절세의 두 미인 있었으니 ... 세상에서 추앙받던 세기의 연인들이었습니다.

 

우연인지 필연인지 두 여인은 '미인박명'을 웅변이라도 하듯

가기엔 너무 이른, 아까운 나이, 서른 여섯살의 어느 날, 갑자기 생을 떠나갑니다. 그것도 불의(不意)의 죽음으로 ...

 

너무 굵고 짧게 살다간~ 바람에 흔들리는 촛불~!

 

어쩌면

이 세상

가장 외로운 여인들?

 

세파에 흔들리던 연약한 촛불~

연민의 정이 설웁고 외롭습니다.
